Athletics

In order to participate in Leon County Schools athletics, students must complete specific forms and submit them online through Aktivate.  All participating students must complete an Activity Participation Form (In Aktivate) and upload a current physical form (Below).  Students participating in cheerleading and football must also complete and upload HIPPA and liability forms (Below).

This submission, and approval, must occur before a student can participate in conditioning, tryouts, practices, or games.  If a student is enrolled in homeschool, virtual school, or private school, please contact our athletic director for more specific information and instructions on athletic registration.

Participation Fees for Home Education and Private School Students

In accordance with Leon County Schools Board Policy 2431, eligible home education and private school students who choose to participate in a Leon County Schools athletic team or performing arts program are required to pay the applicable participation fee for each sport and/or activity in which they participate.  The participation fee shall be the greater of:

• $400.00 per sport and/or activity, or
• The participation fee established for enrolled Leon County Schools students participating in that same sport or activity.

Only one participation fee will be assessed per sport or activity. Students will not be charged both amounts.  All participation fees are paid directly to the school where the student participates.
